Making their debut on Diesel’s SS08 catwalk is The YOKA, an oversized jean with paper bag waist that is definitely no slouch in the fashion department. Large soft pleats are fixed in place with a wide denim sash tie to create a new focus on the waist and fashion’s new centre of attention.

Finally a pair of jeans that look a bit different !! They can invade my closet anytime. I love all the 1940’s cinched waists and its so cool that I can get the look in denim. Just when I’ve dieted and debauched my way to svelte thighs I finally have the excuse to embrace my curves again.

Men have got in on the act too. We like them large - the pleats that is. They have quite a sporty vibe 'teamed' with the polo-shirt! I'm sure they'll be a welcome change from the second-skin denim guys have been. Its definitely time to gather round the boys...

NEW jean alert – am LOVING what I saw in NY. Did you catch the Diesel show on-line? Got to figure how to wear them because I know I’m going to be able to wear them a zillion different ways – LOVE the same waist detail on the skirt. How cute is the pink stitching??

Check out the show – there are also skirts with the same style of waist.
Love the tie detail on the skirts – so high it hurts……and it matches the jeans.
